Core Sensors recently began to expand their portfolio of hazardous classified sensors with the addition of CS60 Series Explosion Proof pressure transducers. With CSA certification, these pressure transducers are for safe use in Class I, Division 1 Explosion-Proof locations. The CS60 Series advances Core Sensors growth and support of new customers in the oil and gas, power generation, and renewable energy markets in North America.

Standard pressure transducers are available from 0-50 PSI up to 30,000 PSI. In addition, differential pressure transducers are available from 0-1 PSI up to 50 PSI. Popular uses include well head pressure measurement, marine and offshore equipment, oil exploration, natural gas compression, and pipeline equipment.

These new product lines are made in the USA at the Core Sensors manufacturing facility in New Jersey. The CS64 Explosion Proof Differential Pressure Transducer is a high strength sensor for differential pressure measurements of liquids and gases in Class I, Division 1 explosion-proof locations. The CS64 features an all-welded, factory seal stainless steel construction and a minimum IP66 rating. A 316L SS oil-filled sensor element provides excellent stability over a wide operating temperature range. Additionally, this offers corrosion resistance against various liquids and gases. A 1/2″ Male NPT conduit fitting with 2 meters of 20AWG flying leads is standard. This fitting allows for easy installation of rigid metal conduit. Differential pressure ranges from 1 PSI up to 50 PSI are available with 1/4″ Female NPT process connections.

This fitting allows for easy installation of rigid metal conduit. A wide operating temperature range and configurable design makes the CS60 a versatile pressure transducer that’s ideal for operation in some the harshest conditions. Available output signals include 1-5V and 4-20mA loop power. The CS60 is an excellent solution for applications such as well head pressure measurement, natural gas compressors, and oil exploration.
