Vapor and Liquid Flow Control for Aseptic Packaging

One of our customers, a manufacturer of food packaging equipment, was looking for a solution for aseptic packaging and wanted to supply hydrogen peroxide into their aseptic sterilization process for food processing. As a solution, Bronkhorst supplied multiple vapor generating systems consisting of liquid flow controllers, gas flow controllers, and a temperature-controlled mixing and evaporation device.  Food products are often sterilized as a final step in the process. In aseptic sterilization, the foods have been sterilized outside the packaging. This can be done by steam sterilization. After that, the foods are placed in the aseptic packages that have been sterilized previously in a separate

Why is the Bronkhorst Coriolis Flow Meter Called ‘Mini’?

One of our eye-catchers in the liquid flow product line portfolio is the Coriolis flow meter. Our Coriolis flow meter series was introduced in 2007 and since then a huge success for both gas and liquid flow measurements in the industry as well as lab applications. At their introduction the Coriolis instruments got the name ‘mini CORI-FLOW’. This name was chosen for two reasons: it was a small flow meter and it measured and controlled low flows, using the Coriolis principle.

Flow Controllers for Bioreactors

Why is reliability an important mass flow controller parameter for Bioreactors? In bioreactors delicate processes take place to multiply biological materials. These processes contain valuable substances, sometimes even beyond a price tag, as these can be an important step in a new vaccine or treatment. Our commitment to our customers in the biotech industry is to make bioreactors work with reliable and reproducible mass flow controllers. For this blog we interviewed Dion Oudejans and Vincent Hengeveld, Product Managers at Bronkhorst about reliable flow controllers. Reliability refers to the quality of being able to be trusted to do what somebody wants

How To Handle Low Liquid Flows

In the bulk industry, flows of much less than 500kg/h is considered low flows, whereas in research this term is attributed to flows that are smaller than 100 g/h.
