Description
Application
- Connecting PR 4511 Modbus RTU output directly to PLC via PROFINET.
- The Anybus Communicator is a proven and trusted protocol converter gateway that connects non-networked industrial devices and equipment to PROFINET. The gateway performs an intelligent protocol conversion and presents the serial data to the Master PLC/Controller as easily processed I/O data.
- The Communicator is slim stand-alone gateway designed for DIN-rail mounting, requiring a 24-volt power supply. The Communicator is conformance tested to current PROFINET specifications guaranteeing network compatibility.
Technical characteristics
- Galvanic isolation on both serial and Bus side.
- Protection class IP20, NEMA rating 1.
- Protection against reverse voltage and short circuit.
- Approved for use in hazardous locations CLASS 1, DIVISION 2, GROUPS A, B, C, AND D, T4.
