AnaCONT LCK, Conductivity Transmitter

AnaCONT LCK, Conductivity Transmitter

The AnaCONT LCK 2-wire, mini, compact conductivity transmitters are designed to measure the conductivity of a liquid and convert the input signal to 4-20 mA output. These analytical transmitters, from Nivelco, are suitable for measuring clean, non-crystallizable liquids. The design and small size of the transmitter, along with the wide temperature range, make this transmitter well fit for use in a diverse range of industrial applications. For measuring pH, ORP, or dissolved oxygen, see AnaCONT models LEP, LER, or LED.

  • 2-wire mini compact transmitter
  • wide range of measurement
  • plug-in display
  • wide selection of accessories
  • 5 year manufacturer warranty

Description

The AnaCONT LCK is a 2-wire, mini conductivity transmitter that is designed to measure the conductivity of a liquid and convert the input signal to 4-20 mA output. These analytical transmitters with compact designs, from Nivelco, are suitable for measuring clean, non-crystallizable liquids. The design of this transmitter, with its wide temperature range and various mounting positions, make it a good fit for a wide range of applications.

Easy Mounting and Installation

Due to the small dimensions and light weight of the transmitter, it can be mounted directly on tanks, pipelines, machines, and more, without any console or support. In open-air installations, the instrument should be protected against rain or moisture with a protection shield.

To avoid disturbing signals, the housing of the instrument is grounded. If the grounding of the process is correct, no further grounding is needed. Otherwise, the instrument should be grounded at the control room side, which is strongly advised.

Maintenance, Repair, Working Principle of the AnaCONT Conductivity Transmitter

Two probes are immersed into a liquid to be measured. The distance between the probes and their surface define the cell constant (K) of the instrument. The cell constant defines the measuring range and thus the application area.

Please note that the sensor may need regular cleaning and degreasing, depending on the application, to ensure proper functioning. Contaminations that remain on the probe can result in incorrect readings. Users should avoid touching the probe and keep it away from dusty environments. This conductivity transmitter does not require maintenance on a regular basis other than those mentioned above.
