Low Flow Dosing Pumps

Our low flow dosing pumps can handle fluids in the microliter to milliliter range for small volumetric flows. These ultra low flow pumps are often necessary for analytical processes, laboratory research, in the chemistry lab, in biotechnology processes such as bioreactors, pharmaceutical production and research, and even in mechanical engineering. To ensure process fidelity, our low flow dosing pumps offer high stability. For example, our micro-annular gear pumps use technology that opens doors to a wide range of applications. Our engineering team will be happy to assist you with design, pump selection, and even in-person training for your staff. We’ll even help you select the right connectors, filters, adaptors, and other sensors necessary for your process.

Micro Annular Gear Pumps
  • low shear stress
  • low pulsation
  • light weight and compact design
  • low dead volume
  • long service life
  • resistance to corrosion and wear

Our micro annular gear pumps are ideal for dosing and metering small amounts liquids. These pumps can handle a wide range of viscosities, flow rates, pressures, corrosive liquids, and even hazardous area certifications. The capability for liquid viscosity ranges from 0.3 to 1 million mPas. Dosing volumes start at 0.25 µl with flows ranging from 1 µl/h to 1.1 l/min. Pressure ranges from 0 to 150 bar (or higher) are possible. In addition, we even offer explosion-proof and magnetic hermetic options.

WADose High Pressure Pumps

WADose high pressure pumps are often combined with a Coriolis mass flow meter for dosing purposes, such as dosing catalysts or liquefied gas dosing.

Gear Pumps for Liquid Dosing

Gear pumps can be used in combination with our Coriolis flow meters and Ultrasonic volumetric flow meters for various dosing applications.

Pumps are core components in a liquid dosing system. Dosing or metering pumps are able to measure the volume flow of a liquid. Process conditions like temperature, air containment, back pressure, and wear and tear influence the measured value. Therefore, the pump needs an additional device to make the required correction.

Bronkhorst mass flow meters and volume flow meters offer the opportunity for direct steering of pumps to minimize the influence of the process conditions on accuracy and repeatability. And placing a flow meter inline with a pump gives the opportunity of pump steering by correcting the pump rotation frequency. Technically, this can be done by a flow meter and a PID controller.

Flow Meter with Integrated PID Controller

We deliver flow meters with an integrated PID controller, thus avoiding the use of the filtered flow meter analog outputs and a separate PID controller. So, this combination of a pump and smart mass flow meter offers direct mass flow control with high accuracy and repeatability, and is independent of process conditions. Additionally, this solution uses an unfiltered control signal, which also offers very high control speed and stability.

Flow meters can be combined with different kind of pumps as long as these can be controlled by a 0(4)-20 mA or 0-5(10) Vdc control signal. Also, we offer functional and system tests for a flow meter / pump system including fine-tuning.
