- Slim housing, fast response, as well as hazardous/marine Approvals for broad use
Description
The PR 3117 Bipolar Isolating Converter converts bipolar current or voltage signals into unipolar outputs. It supports bipolar input ranges of ±10/±20 mA or ±5/±10 V, and also provides selectable signal ranges via DIP switches. Moreover, it delivers high three‑port galvanic isolation (2.5 kVAC) which suppresses surges, eliminates ground loops, and protects control systems. The 3117, from PR electronics, includes over‑voltage, polarity, and short‑circuit protection at all terminals, thus improving system reliability.
- Conversion of voltage as well as current bipolar process signals to unipolar signals
- Multiple signal ranges are selectable via DIP-switches
- Fast response time < 7 ms in addition to high output load stability
- Excellent accuracy, better than 0.05 % of span
- Compact design with slimline 6 mm housing
- Fast and easy configuration of factory calibrated measurement ranges via DIP-switches
- A very low power consumption allows DIN-rail mounting without the need for any air gap
