Patch Cable – Standard RJ45 S(F)TP

An RJ45 S/FTP cable is a data communications cable that features a combination of both Foil Twisted Pair (FTP) and Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) protection. First, the wires inside the RJ45 cable are twisted, then they are shielded with a foil wrapping. Lastly, the 4-pair grouping of foiled wires are shielded by wrapping either foil or a flexible braided screening around them. This type of RJ45 cable provides the highest level of protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
