Description

The PR 5715 is a high-performance programmable LED indicator featuring a 4-digit, 14-segment display (13.8 mm characters). This Programmable LED Indicator is ideal for precise measurement and control. It accepts universal input types—mA, V, ohm, RTD, thermocouple, or potentiometer. In addition, the 5715, from PR electronics, offers four relays plus an analog output for flexible process integration.

It offers universal supply ranging from 21.6-253 VAC or 19.2-300 VDC as well as galvanic isolation (2.3 kVAC) between input, output, and supply, it ensures safety and signal integrity. Front keys and optional PC configuration tools allow user-defined scaling, linearization, and multilingual help texts. Panel-mountable with IP65 front protection (Type 4X), the 5715 is ideal for industrial control, tank level monitoring, and signal display in demanding environments.

Easy Mounting and Installation

User-friendly Operation of the Function Keys on this Programmable LED Indicator

When configuring the 5715 Programmable LED Indicator, users can choose the settings which fit the application. For each menu, there is a scrolling help text which automatically shows in the display. This starts after 5 seconds if the user does not activate a key. Configuration uses the following 3 function keys:

  • 1 will increase the numerical value or choose the next parameter
  • 2 will decrease the numerical value or choose the previous parameter
  • 3 will accept the chosen value and end the menu

If a function does not exist in the display, all parameters will skip to make the configuration as simple as possible. Once user enters the configuration, the display will show “—-“. Pressing and holding “3” will return to the previous menu or return to the default state (1.0) without saving the new values or parameters. If the user doesn’t activate a key for 2 minutes, the display will return to the default state (1.0) without saving the new values or parameters.
