These cables are for use with IP40 flow instrumentation. The IP40 Ingress Protection rating assigned to this flow instrumentation is defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission. An IP40 rating means this flow instrumentation offers protection against solid objects 1 mm or larger, such as wires & nails. However, these flow instruments do not provide protection from moisture.
