CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer

CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer

The CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer is designed for use in liquid level measurement applications. It is available in various output signals including 4-20 mA loop powered for long distance transmissions and voltage outputs for low power, low current consumption. This pressure transducer, from Core Sensors, features a stainless steel (316L and 304) construction and an ETFE cable jacket, which allows for installation in a wide variety of liquids. Precision TIG welds and a high strength Nylon cable gland prevent liquids from ingressing the pressure transducer, and its wide diameter vent tube quickly equalizes barometric pressure within the sensor body to ensure accurate level measurements.

  • pressures from 1 to 100 PSI
  • optional nose cone
  • ETFE cable jacket with wide diameter vent tube
  • 316L and 304SS construction
  • 4-20 mA or voltage output
  • IP68 rated
  • low power options available for remote telemetry applications
  • RoHS compliant

Description

The CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer is ideal for liquid level measurement applications. Its stainless steel (316L and 304) construction and an ETFE cable jacket allows for installation in a wide variety of liquids. Precision TIG welds and a high strength Nylon cable gland prevent liquids from entering the pressure transducer. A wide diameter vent tube quickly equalizes the barometric pressure within the sensor body to ensure accurate level measurements. The CS12, from Core Sensors, is available in various output signals including 4-20 mA loop power for long distance transmissions and voltage outputs for low power, low current consumption.

  • reliable liquid level measurement
  • customizable design
  • pressures from 1 to 100 PSI
  • 316L SS diaphragm with oil filled sensor element
  • ETFE cable jacket with wide diameter vent tube
  • Nylon strain relief, Buna-N form seal, Viton O-ring
  • assembly in New Jersey, USA

CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer

This submersible pressure transducer is the ideal solution for continuous liquid level measurement. This pressure sensor offers a high strength 300 series stainless steel (304 & 316L) metallic construction, corrosion resistant ETFE cable jacket, and a Nylon strain relief for compatibility in a wide range of liquids.

CS12-Submersible-Pressure-Transducer-Core-Sensors-PSC-TexasThe CS12 features a configurable design, allowing us to tailor the transducer to your applications operating requirements. Have a limited voltage supply at your installation? No problem! The CS12 is available in a low power configuration, capable of operating from an unregulated power supply of 3-5 VDC and consuming 3 mA or less of current. Need an extra long cable length? No problem! We offer both standard and custom cable length to ensure you have enough cable to simplify your installation.

  1. While a nose cone comes standard on the CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer, configurations are available with 1/4″ or 1/2″ Male NPT for threaded installation in flood prone locations.
  2. Low power configurations are available when utilizing the CS12 in remote locations or where supply voltage is limited. Ask us for more information!
  3. Standard and custom cable lengths are available to simplify installation.

Pressure Sensor for Continuous Pressure Measurement

The CS12 Submersible Pressure Transducer is also great for non-submersible applications where flooding is a concern. While 100 PSI is the max rated submersion, the CS12 can be configured with pressure ranges above 100 PSI for non-submersible applications, ensuring continuous pressure measurement even during flooding events.
