  • integrated P+T measurement: direct output of mass, nominal flow, energy, gross/net heat
  • flange: DN15 to DN300, 1/2 to 12″
  • wafer version: maximum DN100 / 4″
  • 2-wire, 4-20 mA, HART, FOUNDATION fieldbus, Profibus-PA

Description

The OPTISWIRL 4200 is a vortex flow meter with an integrated temperature sensor. It is ideal for flow measurement of liquids, dry or humid gases, and saturated or superheated steam in wastewater and water distribution networks. This device is also an optimum flow measurement solution (according to ISO 50001) as it can provide integrated gross and net heat measurement for steam. For gas and steam measurements with varying process conditions, this vortex flow meter can also arrive with an optional integrated pressure sensor.

Unlike traditional vortex flow meters, the OPTISWIRL 4200 is able to combine flow, temperature, and pressure measurement as well as flow calculation in just one device. This saves approximately 45% of installation costs and results in a better overall system accuracy. This flow meter is also available with flange connection or in a flangeless wafer design. In addition, it can be delivered with integrated nominal diameter reduction and as field mount version (with cable length up to 164 feet). The OPTISWIRL 4200 is designed for use in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and has approvals for operation in hazardous areas.
