Description

The OPTIMASS 6400 is the standard high performance Coriolis mass flow meter for the water treatment industry. This twin bent tube meter offers superior performance as well as high accuracy in virtually any application. This flow meter, from KROHNE, is ideal for municipal use in custody transfer filling, transport measurements, in addition to other processes in water treatment. Its high-end options also make the OPTIMASS 6400 suitable for low temperatures (down to -328˚F), high operating temperatures (up to 752˚F), or high pressures (up to 200 barg / 2900 psig).

The OPTIMASS 6400 features Entrained Gas Management (EGM) for liquid applications, thus it maintains operation even with entrained gas of up to 100%. This flow meter has multiple approvals for hazardous areas and is also suitable for use in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIL 2/3). Furthermore, it comes with extensive diagnostic functions (NE 107) and various digital communication options. Via the OPTICHECK Flow Mobile app, all device settings can be managed on-site via a secure Bluetooth connection. In this way, operators can perform a variety of commissioning tasks wirelessly, for example, zero calibration or configuration of diagnostics.
