It gives an overview of the available fluids (calibration curves) and allows users to activate the desired fluid, fieldbus address, and baud rate. This application is for all digital Bronkhorst mass flow, pressure meters, and controllers equipped with a digital Multibus PC-Board and RS232 communication, such as the EL-FLOW, IN-FLOW Industrial, EL-PRESS, LOW-ΔP-FLOW, and CORI-FLOW series.
For FLOW-BUS interfaces, there is no need to set the node address using FlowFix. Instruments with a Bronkhorst FLOW-BUS interface have an “Auto Install” feature.
For Profibus-DP, interface with the Baud rate will be automatically adapted from the DP-master.
Aside from using this program to set the Bus Address and the Baud rate of a digital device, most of the devices can also be configured using the microswitch on the instrument.
The digit grouping symbol of currency must always differ from the number’s decimal symbol. Having equal symbols is not valid (not just in this situation, but also in other situations) and will probably cause other problems as well. Issues may arise with certain regional and language options on Windows XP when the system language is set to a language not supported by Jet 4.0.
