Select SL3 Series from Current Technology

The Select-SL3 Series adheres to high industry standards, securing key certifications for reliability and performance. It is UL listed 1449 5th edition for Type 1 and Type 2 applications as well as certified under cUL and UL 1283. In addition, it meets the UL96A master label requirements for lightning protection systems. The Select-SL3 Series of surge protection devices is a high-performance hybrid SPD that combines classic selenium cells with the advanced Integrated Suppression Module (ISM), which integrates thermally fused MOVs, surge-rated copper busbars, and robust filtering for superior transient suppression and extended product life. It boasts fast response (<0.5 nanoseconds), low let-through voltage, and comprehensive protection modes (L-N, L-G, N-G, L-L). Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the SL3 meets stringent safety and reliability standards. This includes UL 1449 (5th Edition), UL 1283, and UL 96A, and it also complies with IEEE and NEC guidelines.

It supports versatile monitoring and MasterMind, ranging from LEDs and surge counters to advanced options like Modbus or Ethernet communication. Thus, it enables real-time data access locally or remotely. It features kA ratings from 50 kA to 300 kA, NEMA 4/12 enclosures, and is suitable for operation in harsh environments (-25 to 60˚C, 5–95% humidity).
