Description

The OPTIFLUX 2100 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF), or magmeter, for standard water and wastewater applications. It is the ideal solution for all general flow applications where reliable flow measurement with sufficient yet not extremely high accuracy is necessary. Furthermore, installation in measurement chambers subject to (constant) flooding is possible with the remote IP68 / NEMA 6P rated version.

Its wear resistant liner materials, as well as its full bore design without moving parts, make the OPTIFLUX 2100, from KROHNE, an effective replacement of mechanical water meters in drinking water distribution networks. Moreover, this electromagnetic flowmeter features a wide range of approvals necessary for potable water measurement. In addition, a full on-site verification of the meter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool.

From Standard Models to Highly Custom Versions

For easy ordering, the standard range of the OPTIFLUX 2000 Series covers all popular sizes, flange materials, and connections (ASME, EN, JIS, AWWA). However, our extensive engineering department can provide solutions for all specifications beyond our standard range. Requests for special sizes, flange connections, pressure ratings, building lengths, and materials will always get a serious review. Whenever possible, we will even engineer an electromagnetic flowmeter that fits your precise requirements.

Easy To Install Electromagnetic Flowmeter

Fitting the OPTIFLUX 2000 Series is easy with the flanged design and standard ISO insertion lengths. To further ease the operation, the OPTIFLUX 2000 Series can install without filters and straighteners. Even grounding rings are not necessary with the patented “Virtual Reference” option on the IFC 300 signal converter.

IP68 Rating Options

Installation in measurement chambers subject to (constant) flooding is possible with the IP68 rating version. The chambers can even be completely surpassed if the IP68 version is combined with our special subsoil coating, thus allowing the OPTIFLUX 2000 to be installed directly in the ground.

Electromagnetic Flowmeter for Custody Transfer Processes

In combination with the IFC 300 signal converter, the OPTIFLUX 2000 is suitable for custody transfer applications. It meets the requirements of OIML R49 and can also verify according to Annex MI-001 of the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) / UK Regulation 2016.
