909710 – DGA BNC VCD

The space-saving surge arrester with BNC socket can mount on DIN rails for protecting video and camera systems. They are available with direct (VCD) or indirect shield connection (VCID), depending on the type, to avoid ground loops. This device is for ordinary indoor use on communication loop circuits, with isolation from the Public Switched Telephone Network. Checking for proper grounding continuity is necessary. Please install the protector in accordance with the applicable requirements of the National Electrical Code, Article 800 or other applicable local codes. The maximum circuit current for UL 497 B applications is limited to100 mA.

  • easily adaptable due to BNC sockets
  • available with direct or indirect shield earthing according to type
  • for installation in conformity with the lightning protection zone concept at the boundaries from 0B – 2 and higher
  • C2 Nominal Discharge Current (8/20 μs) Shield-PG (In): 10 kA
  • C2 Nominal Discharge Current (8/20 μs) Line-shield (In): 5 kA
  • Maximum Continuous Operating Voltage (DC) (UC): 6.4 V
929043 – DGA AG BNC

Surge arrester suitable for remote supply with exchangeable gas discharge tube. They offer long endurance due to minimum contact erosion resulting from the large-area contact surface of the gas discharge tube.

  • large-area contact surface for connecting gas discharge tubes
  • longevity due to minimum contact erosion at the inner conductor
  • for installation in conformity with the lightning protection zone concept at the boundaries from 0A – 1 and higher
  • C2 Nominal Discharge Current (8/20 μs) (In): 20 kA
  • Maximum Continuous Operating Voltage (DC) (UC): 180 V
  • D1 Lightning Impulse Current (10/350 μs) (Iimp): 5 kA
