The OPTIBAR DP 3050 is a differential pressure transmitter for flow, level, and differential pressure measurement in municipal water and wastewater applications. It features analog 2-wire output and digital HART 7 communication along with compact, fully welded stainless steel housing, easy setup options, superb accuracy, and fast response times with outstanding long-term stability as well as optional OPTIBAR DSD series diaphragm seals.

Description

The OPTIBAR DP 3050 is a differential pressure transmitter with integrated absolute pressure measurement. It is an ideal choice for general flow, level, as well as differential pressure applications in the municipal water and wastewater industries. This DP pressure transmitter is currently the most compact pressure transmitter in the market – worldwide. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for space-saving installation in applications with limited space.

This compact DP pressure transmitter features the proven-in-use DP transmitter technology of the OPTIBAR series, but comes without the high-end options of the more advanced OPTIBAR DP 7060. In this way, the OPTIBAR DP 3050 is also one of the most cost-effective DP pressure transmitters in the market. For DP flow measurements, it can combine with KROHNE primary elements, such as our compact orifice plate, integral orifice run assembly, or pitot tubes. Equipped with diaphragm seals, it is the right choice for hydrostatic level as well as general purpose DP measurements.

Our OPTIBAR DP transmitters are the only DP transmitters on the market that are capable of carrying out a total 3D linearization of its differential pressure transmitter. For robust and accurate differential pressure measurement, even under changing process conditions, each OPTIBAR DP 3050 differential pressure transmitter is linearized in all three dimensions during calibration such as: differential pressure, ambient temperature, and static pressure. Since the full operating range, as specified, is covered, an utmost stable and accurate measurement under all process conditions is guaranteed.
