NewTek LVDT Core Rod Kit
Core rod kits are available for all separate-core NewTek LVDTs and links the measured object to the LVDT core. Coming with all the necessary components, the core rod kit is quick and simple to install. Made from non-magnetic 300 series stainless steel, core rod kits will provide a sturdy connection to the LVDT core while maintaining the accuracy of the sensor and are available in a variety of lengths. Core rod kits include the core rod, two jam nuts used to couple the rod to the measured object, and Loctite.
Description
A NewTek core rod kit can mate seamlessly to standard LVDTs for simple installation and linking between the LVDT core and measured object. Made of non-magnetic 300-series stainless steel, these rods provide a rugged connection without interfering with the magnetic coupling between the core and the LVDTs internal coils.
Each core rod kit, from NewTek, includes the core rod, Loctite packet, and two (2) jam nuts. One end of the core rod has male threads to connect to standard cores. Using Loctite on this joint ensures a sturdy connection. The other end of the core rod has external threads that can mate directly to the measured object, or linked to a moving plate with use of the included jam nuts.
