Wireless Signal Monitoring, Single Point Node 4-20 mA Input

Wireless Signal Monitoring, Single Point Node 4-20 mA Input

Our self-contained, self-powered, single point node 4/20 mA input signal transmitters capture data and wirelessly transmits it to SCADA systems, PLC, DCS, or to the cloud. Each transmitter has a range of up to 3/4 miles and can be combined with a repeater for a range up to 7 miles. Due to the frequency used, these transmitters are ideal for remote or obscured areas as they can dynamically change their signal to ensure communication remains constant.

  • ideal for remote or congested areas
  • 2 channels
  • data logging and integration to the cloud, DCS, SCADA, PLC, etc.

Transmitters for 4-20 mA Wireless Signal Monitoring

Model IIoT-1010 provides reliable and economical monitoring in areas where the cost of AC lines and other alternatives has previously made it impractical. Based on advanced technology, the IIOT-1010 provides single point, wireless signal monitoring. It is battery powered and self-transmitting and offers a range of 3/4 miles (1.2km). And with the use of IIoT Technology Innovations, Inc. (IIoTTTI) repeaters, the range expands to 7 miles (11.3km).

This unit from IIoTTTI can be powered by battery plus it also provides single point monitoring for the majority of currently installed loop powered devices. This flexibility provides a quick and inexpensive solution for bringing all 4-20 mA analog signals back to your control room or anywhere they are needed.

Advanced Wireless Data Transmission via Frequency Hopping

frequency-hopping-remote-wireless-transmitters-industrial-iot-instrumentation-remote-areas

Frequency hopping provides redundancy to reduce risk of losing a signal to interference or reception because its unique spread spectrum data transmission technique. This minimizes the effects of walls, structures, and terrain of the signal, which means these transmitters work well even in obscured areas. It also allows data to be secure on both the sending and receiving ends of the process.

These “Data Packets” are transmitted via a “Transmit Only” device in a binary format and the packet is then received and processed into our “Receive Only” Device that is integrated in our Serial Data Processing Unit. After, the data is deciphered into something that is meaningful that correlates to our data base, which is preconfigured at the factory with the field instruments.
