The ST-71 16 Channel Alarm Controller provides simultaneous display and alarm functions for up to 16 monitored variables. The ST-71 may function as a critical alarm controller for hazardous gases, vibration, tank levels and many other process variables. ST-71's come with Modbus Master/Slave RS-485 ports and 4 five amp alarm relays. Options include wireless Modbus, discrete alarm relays and analog outputs.
The WaveLink Receiver (WLR) is the 32 Channel Receiver / Alarm Controller portion of the WaveNet wireless monitoring system. Systems may utilize numerous WaveLinks on the same wireless network when it is desirable to indicate readings and alarms at multiple locations. A Multifunction optional PCB is available to add data logging, RS-485 / Wireless Modbus slave ports and a Wi-Fi access point with web server.
The ST-90 Quad Channel Controller provides simultaneous display and alarm functions for four monitored variables. Easy to configure and user friendly, the ST-90 Quad can function as a critical Alarm Controller for toxic and combustible gases, vibration, tank levels and other process values. Up to 8 configurable relays allow zoning and voting.
The ST-90 Quad Controller, with its wireless option, often functions as the "Site Controller" for the Rig Protector and other area monitoring applications when it is desirable to interface wirelessly with other controllers and alarm instrumentation. For example, rig perimeter monitoring projects often require several Site Controllers to receive 4-20mA signals from sensors and annunciate strobes and horns for a local area. The ST-90 Quad's wireless interface makes it very easy to funnel its monitored data on to a larger controller for the entire rig. The ST-90 QUAD four channel controller provides simultaneous display and alarm functions for four monitored variables. Easy to configure and user friendly, the ST-90 Quad functions as a critical alarm controller for toxic and combustible gases, vibration, tank levels and many other process values.
Our RigProtector is a mix of wired and wireless technologies. Unlike our WaveNet Wireless Monitoring System, gas detectors usually connect to RigProtector Site Controllers via quick connect cable sets. ST-90 Four Channel Controllers are the typical Site Controller but larger projects may also use the Sixteen Channel ST-71. Site Controllers typically receive 4-20mA signals from the gas detectors and then wirelessly transmit sensor and alarm data to remote central display and alarm stations. Many Site Controllers may be set up for perimeter monitoring and then transmit their data to another larger controller such as our ST-72.
The WaveNet Relayer (WNR) receives Alarm Status data from wireless WCM sensors for activating up to five configurable 5 amp SPDT relays. Relays may be configured to activate based upon 3 distinct alarm levels, Comm Error/Fault and Low Battery conditions. Add our Quick Connector option and cabling to make it easy to wire Relayers to 2/4 Alarm Bar light stack annunciators!

The RC Systems WaveBridge converts RS-485 data to 900MHz or 2.4 GHz FHSS Client/Server wireless networks. Hop and Destination address settings allow many different networks within the same installation. WaveBridge modems are useful if the RS-485 device is a long distance from a desirable antenna location. For example, RC Systems’ ST-35, ST-71, ST-72 and ST-90 Controller products are available with wireless interfaces but these require the controller be close to the antenna due to losses in long coax cables. The WaveBridge also repeats RF signals for long distances.

The Site Survey Toolkit (SST) is offered in 900MHZ and 2.4GHZ versions and allows simulation of WaveNet devices that both transmit and receive wireless data. A single SST is very useful when setting up communication between another WaveNet device such as the SenSmart 7000 Series, WaveLink Receiver (WLR) or WaveNet Relayer (WNR). However, with no WaveNet equipment on site, two SSTs may be used to evaluate proposed location and antenna selections for future equipment. This capability helps avoid locating devices in dead zones or areas which may have other RF problems. WaveNet sales engineers and technicians should always have a pair when visiting sites!
